Dr. Megan Behrens

Dr. Behrens grew up in Wilber, Nebraska. She attended the University of Nebraska, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Science. She attended Kansas State University, earning a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr Behrens practiced emergency medicine and critical care for 7 years before joining the practice. Her favorite part of transitioning to general practice was being able to get to know the pets and their families over many years and watching them grow. The relationships are so special to her. In 2024 Dr. Behrens purchased the clinic and hopes to continue to provide exceptional care to the patients and clients of HAH for many years to come.

Besides caring for her patients, she enjoys family time, gardening, supporting her children in their activities and cheering for the Huskers! Dr. Behrens and her husband Grant have three beautiful children, Rowan, Elleson and Rory. They also share their home with their energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, Huck and their three legged cat, Percy.
