Career & Expertise
Dr. Hoppes grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and completed her undergraduate studies while also playing basketball at Concordia University in Seward. Dr. Hoppes earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2022 from the UNL/ISU joint veterinary program, spending the first 2 years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the last 2 years at Iowa State University. Since graduating, she has worked in small town mixed animal general practice and joined Highlands Animal Hospital in March of 2024.
Life Outside the Clinic
Dr. Hoppes and her husband Michael have 1 daughter, their miracle little girl Lainey Jo. The Hoppes’ enjoy being outside in God’s creation, spending time with family, cheering the huskers, and being involved in their church. Their family is joined by Boost the black lab, Li-Li the Vizsla, and Octavia the cat.
